Diana Rigg is an award-winning theatre, film and television actress whose credits include the roles of hip and sexy Emma Peel on The Avengers, the beautiful and tragic Tracy di Vicenzo Bond in On Her Majesty's Secret Service and the passionately obsessed Helena Vesey in Mother Love. She most recently appeared in Heidi in 2005, and The Painted Veil, which was released in December 2006.
In 1994, she won the Tony Award for Best Actress for her performance as Medea and, in 1996, she won the Evening Standard Award and Variety Club Award for Best Actress in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
She will be seen on stage this Spring in The Cherry Orchard at the Chichester Festival.
