Hail To Dame Diana

Last Friday, when advance word leaked from London that Queen Elizabeth II would honor Diana Rigg with the title of "Dame," the entire "Medea" cast converged on Diana's dressing room to serenade her with a rousing, reworked version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "There Is Nothing Like a Dame." (Complete with a kazoo break!)

The great Dame herself, Tony-winner Rigg, burst into happy tears.
