Just after midnight - the bright lights and music are over until the next show begins. I wanted to capture on camera a quiet scene in London, an alternative to my usual habitat of bustling theatreland. However, with the aeroplane overhead and a passing boat on the river it seemed too busy and not so very different after all. I knew I was not the only one on the way home in the early morning.
