6 oz margarine
2 oz lard
6 heaped tablespoons sugar
1 heaped tablespoon golden syrup
Pinch of salt
20 heaped tablespoons Quaker Oats
Cream sugar and margarine and lard until really soft. Add the rest of ingredients. Spread about half an inch thick in tins and bake in hot oven for 10 minutes. Cut when half cold into slices.
